The Story Behind Simply Couture

Where a lifelong passion for sewing meets a love of the show ring.

My journey began at just nine years old, learning to sew from my mother, a sewing teacher who instilled in me an appreciation for beautiful fabrics, careful construction, and the art of creating something truly special.

In 1994, I began making horse show clothing for my daughter. What started as a personal passion grew into Simply Couture Show Clothing, a business built on original design, exceptional craftsmanship, and a belief that beautiful show apparel should be as individual as the person wearing it.

Today, I specialize in custom and ready-to-wear Western and English horse show apparel, including showmanship suits, horsemanship shirts, ranch riding vests, tailored hunt coats, and elegant show clothing.

Every garment is individually cut and sewn in my USA studio. I don't start with mass-produced clothing blanks. From carefully tailored silhouettes and bound buttonholes to hidden zippers and distinctive finishing details, craftsmanship is at the heart of everything I create.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of seeing my designs worn by exhibitors achieving championship success. But what matters most to me is how a rider feels when stepping into the show ring: confident, comfortable, and beautifully presented.
